Welcome

Dear visitors,

In the 21st century, when technology and science advanced greatly and when the Internet became part of everyday life, we could not let the opportunity pass to create some web pages to bring our unsurpassable biblical processions closer to the rest of the world and where you could contemplate the grandness and wealth of the largest brotherhood of our city: El Paso Blanco (White Float).

During your visit you will have an amazing and astonishing view of the most lavish and overwhelming dream that the human mind could ever conceive. You will be offered, before your amazed eyes, a totally original, unusual, rich and emotional interpretation of the Bible, of which the content will last in your eyes and imagination for ever. More than 1000 people will dress up in character, wearing clothes and robes of the age they represent, all of which have been embroidered skilfully with gold and silk by the woman of Lorca. Also, for a few hours, 300 selected horses, chariots and carriages will introduce us to the history of the big lost civilizations.

You can admire Roman legions, symbols and cuádrigas (a chariot with four horses), Saint Helen and her son Constantine, The Assyrian-Babylonian civilization with the king Nebuchadnezzar in his spectacular carriage. You will then see Egypt and the queen of Sheba, who visits Solomon, Saint John’s vision in Patmos Island and the four horses of Apocalypse. All this will lead into a spectacular ending with the appearance of our Mother, our Lady, Virgen de la Amargura(Lady of Distress).

We invite you to visit this world of fantasy and to attend in situ what the distinguished Nobel prize winner of medicine Mr. Santiago Ramón y Cajal defined as “collective madness”. Come and take part or just spectate, and when the play has finished the unforgettable view of the procession that took place in front of your eyes will live with you forever in your hearts and you can be guaranteed that you will not find nor see similar scenes at any other popular events anywhere in this country.

From this moment I would like to express my gratitude for visiting our web site and we hope that you have enjoyed browsing. If you do then all our hard work will have been worthwhile.
